Verkostungsnotizen
Robert Parker 90
Served from a magnum, this is just a little unclean on the nose: leathery, dusty, old antique shop but it unfurls nicely with passing minutes, revealing some cleaner black fruit inflected with black olive, black tea and a hint of wild rosemary. The palate is showing a lot of dry extract, a decayed decadence and richness that has been abraded by time, spice and damson, broody and powerful towards the burly finish. I like the style of this wine, but I would suggest it has seen better days. Drink now. Tasted May 2009.
