Verkostungsnotizen
Robert Parker 85
Tasted from an ex-chateau magnum at the Academie du Vin dinner. It is exactly ten years since I last encountered the Mouton-Rothschild ’91 but it appears to have declined since then. The nose is very lacklustre and rather enervated with faint touches of small dark cherries and a dusty/mothball aromas. The palate is light-bodied for a First Growth and rather hollow in the middle and very dry and austere towards the finish. Past its best. Tasted April 2011.
