Verkostungsnotizen
Robert Parker 95
The 2021 Jenins Pinot Noir Eichholz is deep, intense and elegant on the generous but refined, seductive and seamless nose that reveals remarkable complexity and even iodine notes in background. Silky, lush and refined on the palate, this is a full-bodied, deep, intense and saline, very generous and silky-textured, sweet and harmonious Pinot with concentrated but juicy fruit, remarkably fine tannins and a long, intense and finessed as well as complex and mineral finish. This is doubtlessly a great wine from Graubunden and the finest Eichholz I have tasted from Irene Grunenfelder and her son Johannes Hunger. 13.1% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in March 2024.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2050
